Iranian animated film ‘Elephant King’ has been scheduled to go on screen in Persian New Year known as Nowruz.
The producers of ‘The Elephant King’ in the Iran-based Honar Pouya Group are to screen the animation in the Iranian new year event.
Set in Africa, the animation film ‘The Elephant King’ narrates the story of an elephant who rules over its group like a king.
The queen bears him a son and everybody expects the son to replace his father as heir to the throne. The clumsy baby elephant, however, disappoints them all.
The Persian New Year starts with the beginning of spring and equinox in Iran, where people hold ceremonies for the onset of the season. This year, Nowruz celebration starts on March 20, 2018.
